Our client’s facility in Sandwich Kent is the largest TAC Lon Works database in the country; which we have successfully upgraded to Schneider SmartStruxure. The system was designed to utilise a LON network throughout the building which presents many issues when migrating the database while keeping a live building operational. The building is a mixture of research and manufacturing laboratory’s including a hydrogenation reactor. Due to the criticality of the site, it was fundamentally important, that any shutdown was safe and timely. We exceeded our client’s expectations, delivering the project on programme with zero impact to the building occupants.
GA delivered a 1st class BMS upgrade project on a technically challenging system, ensuring our tenants experienced minimal disruption. GA submitted detailed technical submittals for each phase, which ensured myself and my team clearly understood the scope of works and the potential impact. Weekly project and commissioning reports ensured we were always informed of any issues and remedial works required. The GA team has regularly gone above and beyond to assist my team with any site issues which are not related to this project, by doing so they have demonstrated a real can do attitude and commitment to my team.
