The results have been outstanding, an average reduction of over 31% energy across the estate; and improving year-on-year. This initiative has board level visibility and sponsorship. “As part of a modernisation programme across the port of Dover, we were looking for a partner to support our desire to reduce our operational risk associated with managing our business-critical backup power supplies while increasing our ability to control more of the estate. We operate a 24/7 facility, and the chosen partner needed to demonstrate and manage delivery without any business or service downtime. Global Associates innovatively integrated wireless technology into the wider BMS. This allows us to monitor, schedule, and proactively repair critical backup power across the site, replacing a manual and problematic process with automation. Multiple backup power sources are several kilometres apart, and some are only accessible via a boat.
